Vikram Parekh currently serves as the Vice President in the USAA Federal Savings Bank. His team is responsible for developing save and protect experiences that help enhance member's financial security. His saving experience team is currently focused on helping USAA members be prepared for any unexpected financial expenses (big or small) and help members get started on a path of investing so that they can achieve their long-term goals.

In the protect experience arena, his team is focused on helping USAA members become aware and improve their credit scores and protect their identities. Protect experiences also include products like Extended Vehicle Protection, Total Loss Protection and Debt Protection that help members cover unexpected financial costs of vehicles breaking downs, job losses, etc.

Prior to this role, he was responsible for Credit Card product development and Emerging Payments which included providing new products and features to meet member needs and wants with respect to affordability, convenience and access to highly competitive card products. His team was instrumental in getting new Amex and Mastercard reward cards, Apple Pay, Android Pay, Real-time payments, Merchant funded rewards to the USAA membership.

Vikram joined USAA in 2012 and brings with him a diverse set of experiences across different industries like Financial Services, Chemicals, Petroleum, in diverse geographies (USA, India, China). Over 13+ years of experience in Financial Services with HSBC and CapitalOne, he has worked in a variety of strategy and management roles supporting the P&L management of Relationship cards and Account Management function of General purpose and Cobrand credit cards.

Born and educated in India, Vikram holds a post graduate diploma in Business Administration from Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad and a Bachelors in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.

Vikram serves on the board of San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind on the Investment and Finance committees. He resides in San Antonio, TX with his wife and two children. In his free time, Vikram enjoys spending time with his family, reading and running.
